We provide complimentary transportation from Talkeetna (please note that we drive an hour north from Talkeetna to our boat launch.)

At the river’s edge, you will participate in a brief safety lecture and demonstration before launching and floating the nineteen miles of the glacial-fed Chulitna back to Talkeetna. Almost throughout the entire length of the trip, a stunning view of Denali (20,320′) and the entire Alaska Range provide a spectacular backdrop. This remote portion of the Chulitna River is prime Bald Eagle, bear, salmon and moose habitat.

On clear days, the view is unparalleled for photo opportunities. For an additional fee at your trips conclusion we offer photos of your float, we have a photographer who will take pictures of you, your raft & guide – with this magnificent vista in the background. Please note that total duration of trip including the one hour drive to our departure point is approximately five hours and we run rain or shine.
